Testimonials

I became a member of the JLSC in 1999 when I first moved to Sioux City. League gave me the opportunity to meet other women and get to know my new community. And, as I learned over time, the JLSC is a party with a purpose! The women in league always have fun at meetings but they also have an important purpose behind everything that they do: to develop projects that make Siouxland a better place. My membership has brought me many lifelong friends, learning opportunities, leadership experience, and made me feel very connected to Sioux City. I am a better citizen and a better person for having joined league. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I joined JL to make new friends and to volunteer in the community. What I got out of JL was really being involved with committees and projects that impacted my community, learning more about my community, awesome training, having fun, and long lasting friendships where I would of never met these women outside of JL.
