Kathy Erion, registered interior designer with Cannon Moss Brygger Architects, has been appointed by Gov. Terry Branstad to a three-year term on the state Interior Design Examining Board. The board’s primary mission is to protect the public interest by promoting the highest standards of interior design.
Erion joined CMBA in 2005 after graduating from Iowa State University. She is a member of the International Interior Design Association, as well as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional.

Leadership Siouxland identifies and trains outstanding individuals representing diverse views and experiences to assume leadership roles in economic, cultural, philanthropic, and civic development. The program began in September with a daylong orientation held at Briar Cliff University. The group meets monthly to explore Siouxland’s assets and opportunities. Program sessions include: economic development, law enforcement, nonprofits, arts, education, diversity, and politics/government.
