Testimonials

I became a member of the JLSC in 1999 when I first moved to Sioux City. League gave me the opportunity to meet other women and get to know my new community. And, as I learned over time, the JLSC is a party with a purpose! The women in league always have fun at meetings but they also have an important purpose behind everything that they do: to develop projects that make Siouxland a better place. My membership has brought me many lifelong friends, learning opportunities, leadership experience, and made me feel very connected to Sioux City. I am a better citizen and a better person for having joined league. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Margaret Holman, Past President
Junior League is so much more than a volunteer opportunity for me. I love that feeling that you are helping others, but Junior League has become much more than that. It has allowed me to meet some truly great women who I’m happy to call friends, and to learn more about myself both professionally and personally. I love attending meetings and events – it’s the best way to keep up with my fellow Leaguers!!
